Do Grok and Grok Bot share the same limit?

Applies to: GROKLast reviewed: Reviewed by Editor
TL;DR

No. Grok's weekly limit covers Chat, Imagine, Voice and Build; Grok Bot usage is counted separately, and xAI announces resets for all users of each one separately.

Full answer and how it works

No. Since June 2026, paid users of Grok (grok.com and the mobile app) share one weekly limit: Chat, Imagine, Voice and Build all draw from it, and it resets on your own account's schedule.

Grok Bot is a separate xAI product: "AI teammates" that work for you, have their own computer and can sign into your tools. Its usage is included in Cursor, SuperGrok or Teams plans, counted weekly, and kept separate from Grok's weekly limit.

xAI also announces its resets for all users separately: for Grok on @grok or @SpaceXSI, for Grok Bot on @bot. We list them separately in the Grok reset history.
